Product Description

I. Why You Need This Telescopic Hydraulic Cylinder for Dump Trailers

If you build or maintain dump trailers, you know the lift cylinder is the one part that cannot fail quietly. It either dumps the load or it does not.

The HTC7T is a multi-stage telescopic cylinder built for North American dump trailer duty. Seven-ton class. Strokes from 60 to 108 inches. One job: lift the bed, dump the load, day after day.

II. What You Get

Multi-stage design. The barrel sections nest inside each other, so a long stroke fits in a short retracted package. That is what lets a compact trailer bed raise high enough to clear wet aggregate.

Hard-chromed stages with proprietary honing. Each stage is honed and chromed to keep friction low and corrosion out. On a trailer that sits outside all winter, this is the difference between smooth lifting and a seized stage.

Premium seals and multi-stage wipers. The wipers scrape road grit off each stage before it reaches the seal. Sand and salt kill cheap cylinders fast. They do not get past these wipers.

SAE #8 ports (3/4-16 UNF).Standard North American connection, easy hose matching.

IV. Choosing the Right Stroke

Match the stroke to the trailer, not the other way around.

  • 60" — short single-axle trailers and light duty beds
  • 78" – 90" — the common range for standard tandem-axle dump trailers
  • 108" — long beds and high-dump configurations

If you are replacing an OEM cylinder, measure the old unit's stroke and mounting, then send us the part number. We cross-reference and confirm fit before production.

V. FAQ

A: We build HTC‑series cylinders to OEM specs. Send your part number or drawing — we confirm fitment and match the mounting before we cut steel.
A: A standard 12V or 24V DC dump trailer power unit with 3000 PSI class relief. If you need the pump too, we supply hoist‑and‑pump packages.
A: With the multi‑stage wipers and hard‑chromed stages, these cylinders run for years in daily service. The corrosion protection is the long‑life factor on trailers parked outdoors.
A: Every cylinder is pressure‑tested before crating. The test record ships with the unit.
A: Standard strokes: 10‑15 working days. Custom: 18‑25 working days.
