Made entirely from 316L stainless steel, our hydraulic cylinders skip painted coatings to stop hidden rust in marine and food processing environments. III. Electropolishing & Passivation Core Product Advantage

Simple mechanical machining only shapes the stainless steel, while our electropolishing process optimizes the metal surface at the micro level. This treatment removes tiny surface burrs and uneven textures, meanwhile generating a dense chromium-rich passivation film on the cylinder outer wall and internal flow surfaces. The passivation layer renders the metal surface chemically inactive. Ocean salt molecules and food-grade acid cleaners cannot corrode the metal substrate. Totally unnecessary. The 316L material plus factory electropolished passivation forms complete anti-corrosion protection. Extra paint will bring back hidden rust risks we specially solved with this design.
(2). Will the Viton seals get damaged under long-term high-temperature cleaning cycles?
The Viton seals are customized for frequent hot wash and chemical sanitization. It keeps stable sealing performance under the upper temperature limit of 120°C and various common industrial cleaning reagents.
(3). Is high-precision alignment required when installing spherical bearing ends?
Self-aligning spherical bearings absorb minor assembly errors and operational structural offset naturally. You do not need ultra-precise calibration, greatly cutting your field installation hours.
